Publicity Guide – EAPN Focus on Poverty in Ireland project

As part of the European Anti Poverty Network's Focus on Poverty in Ireland project, EAPN Ireland has compiled a publicity guide for use by activists and workers in the community/NGO sector. The aim of the publication is to provide a basic introduction to publicity work in generating press releases; letters to the papers; interview preparation and so on. The Guide is available on the EAPN website http://www.eapn.ie

In the autumn, EAPN Ireland will be holding media training sessions in a number of locations around the country conducted by professional media personnel.

Also until the end of November 2007, as part of the ‘Focus on Poverty in Ireland’, Justin Moran the EAPN Ireland Media and Communications Officer is available to support community groups to engage with the media.
