‘Workshop on Innovation’ for the North West Europe Programme

As part of project development support for Northern Ireland organisations, the SEUPB and DFP will be hosting a ‘Workshop on Innovation’ for the North West Europe Programme. The event will be held on Tuesday  9 November 2010 from 09h30 – 16h00 in Clifton House, 2 North Queen St, Belfast, BT15 1ES.

Organisations wishing to develop project idea under the theme of Innovation are invited to come along to discuss and enhance their ideas in preparation for the next call in Spring 2011.  As you may be aware Priority 1 – Innovation of the North West Europe Programme is currently undersubscribed and therefore will be a key focus for the forthcoming call.  In addition, the North West Europe Annual Conference, which will be held in Manchester on 6 and 7 December 2010 will focus on Innovation.

It is hoped that the workshop in Belfast will provide organisations in Northern Ireland with an overview of the programme, the current NI policy context in relation to innovation and will seek to assist potential applicants develop their  project ideas.  We will be encouraging applicants to attend the Annual Conference in Manchester and use this opportunity to further develop their project ideas and to seek partners. The Annual Conference will be also an opportunity to meet with the Secretariat and Contact Points of the programme.
