PEACE PLUS is a new EU cross-border programme that will contribute to a more prosperous and stable society in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland. The programme will achieve this by funding activities that promote peace and reconciliation and contribute to the cross-border economic and territorial development of the region. It will build upon previous PEACE and INTERREG Programmes.
A considerable amount of preparatory work, research and stakeholder engagement has taken place in the development of the new programme, and we are at an advanced stage of preparation. We will continue the finalisation of development over the coming months, and we are committed to delivering a new Programme by 2021. A public statutory consultation on the draft Programme will take place towards the end of the year.
The initial stakeholder engagement for the new PEACE PLUS Programme ended on 28 February 2020. See below the relevant documentation that was made available during this process. The SEUPB will continue to keep its stakeholders updated on progress.

Stakeholder Engagement Events:
As part of the first consultation a series of stakeholder information events took place in every county in Northern Ireland and the Border Region of Ireland, between December 2019 and February 2020. (The location for each event was selected following a consultation with the local authorities for each county area). All of the venues have the capacity for a large number of attendees and are accessible to those with different access and/or mobility needs.
Each event ran from 6pm-8pm.
