PEACEPLUS is a new European Union funding Programme, designed to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.

  • Programme Overview

    PEACEPLUS is a new European Union funding Programme, designed to support peace and prosperity across Northern Ireland and the border counties of Ireland.
  • Development of PEACEPLUS

    The PEACEPLUS programme has been developed through extensive research, review and public engagement. A Stakeholder Engagement exercise which took place in 2019/2020, the SEUPB held a range of public events including; specific events with young people.
  • Themes and Investment Areas

    The PEACEPLUS Programme has been divided into six themes – each of which aims to address longstanding social, environmental and economic challenges which have and continue to impact our community. Within each theme there are several investment areas – these will have a more specific focus and target organisations such as local authorities or community groups.
  • PEACEPLUS Programme Monitoring and Steering Committees

    For each funded Programme, a Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC) is established under European Regulation to monitor its effectiveness and quality. PMC delegates responsibility to the Steering Committee who make the final decision on whether funding is awarded to projects.
  • Jems

    Jems is the Joint Electronic Monitoring System developed by INTERACT, for use by EU Programmes for the 2021-2027 funding period. Jems offers a streamlined, user-friendly experience for the full project lifecycle. Jems will cover all project aspects from application to closure, in line with regulatory requirements.
