The SEUPB is committed to providing a Programme of Training for Lead Partners and Partners under the INTERREG VA and PEACE IV Programmes. The Programme will be rolled out throughout the remaining months of 2017 and throughout 2018, with the aim of building the capacity of Partners implementing projects under the Programmes around key areas including, but not limited to, Lead Partner roles and responsibilities, Eligibility of Expenditure, Information and Publicity and Management of Capital Projects. Training Sessions will be held in a number of locations throughout the eligible area around each topic. The sessions will be published on the SEUPB website and via direct communication with the Lead Partners.
This training session is aimed at new projects to the PEACE IV Programme and will focus on eligibility of expenditure including procurement rules and the claims process. The session will include presentations from the Financial Control Unit (FCU) within SEUPB, practical exercises and a question and answer session.
This seminar will provide partnerships under both the PEACE IV and INTERREG VA Programmes with an overview of their roles and responsibilities as Lead Partners and Partners, as set out in the Programme Rules. It will also be an opportunity to focus on key aspects of the Letter of Offer and Standard Conditions of Grant.
