Investment Area 5.1 - Biodiversity, Nature Recovery and Resilience

The SEUPB are now accepting applications to the PEACEPLUS Programme, Investment Area 5.1 - Biodiversity, Nature Recovery and Resilience. 

The Biodiversity, Nature Recovery and Resilience Programme will promote cross border co-operation to facilitate the recovery of selected habitats and species across the Programme Area. It presents an opportunity to build upon the INTERREG VA programme by continuing to promote cross-border co-operation and faciltating the recovery of additional protected habitats and priority species. Investment will be directed towards further delivery of conservation actions proven to redress biodiversity loss and preserve these important environmental, social and economic assets. 

Objective of this call

This specific objective will promote enhanced protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure, including in urban areas, and reduction in all forms of pollution.

It will result in an increase in the surface area of selected habitats and habitats for species in improving conditions that create a more cohesive society through an increased provision of community spaces, key services and supports in rural areas. 

€40m is available in this call.  Applications to this call must be received no later than 5pm on 28 March 2024.
