“Under FOI, I would be grateful if you could provide the following information

1. To indicate if there are any differences other than remuneration, pension and terms and conditions between Northern and Southern employees at equivalent grades in both jurisdictions within SEUPB.

  1. Policy on applying Irish Civil Service pay rates to employees based in the Republic of Ireland.
  2. Policy on appropriate tax jurisdiction/code for employees based in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland and the appropriate tax jurisdiction/code for employees domiciled in the relevant jurisdictions.
  3. Recruitment policy and any relevant information regarding basing employees in Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland.
  4. Internal transfer procedures/policy e.g. promotion, acting-up. This should include grading and pay policies for such recruitments.
  5. Detail of any lateral transfers that have been offered to or taken up by employees since 2002, this should include the grade associated with the position.
  6. Have any employees transferred from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland and vice versa? If so, please can you provide details of the original grades and the grades they transferred to.

Please note we are not seeking any information on individuals that would be subject to Data Protection legislation”.

FOI-2018-02 Sport Uniting Communities

  • You recently funded the following project: - The Irish Football Association has been awarded up to €1,484,582.45 ERDF under the PEACE IV Programme for the cross-border 'Sport Uniting Communities' Project. SUC is a cross-border collaboration project which will utilise sport to promote positive relations and cultural diversity between 16,996 individuals of differing backgrounds, particularly across the religious divide, resulting in a change in perception and sustained relationships.
    The project will also: create a regional pool of volunteers with the skills and capacity to promote positive relations; increase the regular and long term participation of marginalised groups within sport (young people, older people, women and black/minority ethnic groups); and develop a pool of 48 inclusive and welcoming clubs, resulting in clubs becoming more open, inclusive and welcoming to people from different communities.

I should be grateful if you would provide me with a copy of the application form and any annexes and associated papers relating to the application. Additionally I would ask you to provide me with a copies of the scoring matrix (how the project scored), the assessment report and minutes of the decision making committee which awarded the funding.

FOI-2018-03 Interview Guidance & Staff Reference Form

I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act within the 20 day time limit set by the Act:

1. A blank copy of the current employer reference form SEUPB sends to employers for requesting employment references for new staff appointments.

2. All documentation giving guidance to interview panel members on how to score applicants and the scoring methodology used for the same”.

FOI-2018-04 Ulster Architectural Heritage

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 please supply, or allow access to, a copy of the case file for the above proposal.

Also correspondence/ communications with Translink/DFI leading to the inclusion of quoted support from the Chief Executive of SEUPB, in a Translink Press release issued 2 days before Derry and Strabane District Council planning committee were due to consider the Waterside applications on 11th April 2018 (copy attached)”.

“Information regarding the application of funding for the 3G Pitches at the Antrim Grammar School site under the PEACE IV Programme to Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council.

I want to know how they demonstrated that they would meet the detailed criteria set in the Citizens’ summary and Cooperation Programme.

I want to know the detailed review process that was demonstrated by the council on how they would achieve the set criteria. I want to know what criteria for funding was used by the Joint Secretariat to inform the final decision for the funding.”
