About the Committees
Under European Regulation, a Monitoring Committee is set up to monitor the effectiveness and quality of a Programme.
There is a PMC established for each live Programme, so at the moment we have three in place for:
- PEACE IV;
- INTERREG VA and
- PEACEPLUS.
A Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC) delegates responsibility to an independent Steering Committee (SC) to select projects for funding. Its decision is final. A Steering Committee remains in place for the duration of a Programme.
