North-West Europe (NWE) Programme 2014-2020

This €370 million ERDF programme aim is to help make this new region more competitive, environmentally friendly and cohesive by improving access to more and better jobs, enhancing the environmental qualities of the region, improving accessibility and ensuring that cities and rural areas are attractive and sustainable.

Programme area

The programme area: is 

  • France, 
  • the UK, 
  • Germany, 
  • the Netherlands, 
  • Ireland, 
  • Luxembourg,
  •  Belgium, and 
  • Switzerland.

Priorities

The NWE Programme has three priorities:

  1. Strengthening Research, Technological Development and Innovation;
  2. Supporting the Shift towards a Low-Carbon Economy in all Sectors;
  3. Protecting the Environment and Promoting Energy Efficiency
