The €270m PEACE IV Programme is a unique initiative of the European Union which has been designed to support peace and reconciliation.
The PEACE Programme was initially created in 1995 as a direct result of the EU’s desire to make a positive response to the paramilitary ceasefires of 1994.
Whilst significant progress has been made since then, there remains a need to improve cross-community relations and where possible further integrate divided communities.
The new programming period for 2014-2020 provides opportunity for continued EU assistance to help address the peace and reconciliation needs of the region.
Applications are currently closed for this programme.
Ahead of funding calls for the PEACEPLUS Programme, the SEUPB is holding pre-application workshops to provide support for prospective projects. These workshops will provide full details of the application process as well as an understanding of each investment area objects. There will be a full overview of the PEACEPLUS Programme and the opportunity to engage with consultants and Programme facilitators.
